The people who contribute to this website are from a wide range of professions, but we've all gone through a trauma that's similarly painful as to what you are going through. We have two purposes.
Our first purpose is to help you get back on your feet. Even when you are unfairly targeted and mobbed, it offers little comfort when you feel deserted you and that you're an embarrassment to the social and professional groups that once meant the most to you. In the end what can happen is that . . .
[] CEOs and top executives are fired
[] Physicians lose their license
[] Ministers are defrocked
[] Professors become unemployable
[] Therapists have their license revoked
[] Lawyers are disbarred
[] Teachers lose their accreditation
Our second purpose is to help you find a new sense of purpose -- hopefully one that makes the the world a better place. This community is anonymous and free. We're self-funded and not sponsored or affiliated with any association, movement, company, religion, or not-for-profit organization. Use this community to help yourself, to help your family, and then to help others. Here's how to start.
• 1. Read the Find Allies page. Don't withdraw or talk to the wrong people. You need to find good allies who will help you.
Here's what's worked -- and what's backfired -- for some of us.
• 2. Skim the Resources. This hub shows what resources other people have found useful in helping them recover.
This includes useful books, articles, worksheets, slideshows, videos, and websites (register for password).
There's a lot here to digest here. If you find this helpful, and you think you're at the right place, go ahead and register (anonymously) with our group. We'll email you a password to the site. After that, you can read the more personal content that's in the Q&A Forum or Stories sections, and you can comment or add your own experiences if you wish. This is anonymous, and this is free.
We've all been through a lot. Let's make sure it was "worth it." That will be Your Next Chapter.
